There's a bit of confusion going on about the world in which a papertown is placed.
People keep on writing, asking for details and invetions that are there, so I'll write that journal, which
hopefully will brighten up the world for you.
A word about the World:
The year of 1845. The war between Cardance and Bristolia last without a break for ten years now.
Both countries fight for controll over the the distant continent on Tisscania.
Cardance is loosing this war, and only one town still holds on despite constant attacks of Bristolian troops.
The Emperor of Cardance, Calquess the VIII, sends a ship with troops, supplies and a new goverment in a form
of a city council to the town of Papertown, called that becouse of it's founder Tom Paper.
Will the new council save the town and win the war? Or will they use their power for their own advantage?
Technology can be compared to our technology from XIX century. Rifles are mostly flintlock, hot air baloons are a thing.
For the sake of Steampunkyness, we'll strech the timeline a bit, and make steam machines a technology that is available
and is a field for many inventors to experiment on.
Well, it's known for people that werevolves and witches exist. I mean, come on, they existed back
in our world as wel, right? Trolls, ghosts, wraights... those are the things villagers are scared of.
But what is real and what is made up by some peasants? You'll rarely know for sure.
But yeah, there IS some magic, and there IS some witchcraft and such, but a respectfull soldier
of Cardance would never report such thing to the Emperor himself.
